It is Senior Portrait season all year long here at Angela Clifton Photography. We love being Tampa Senior Photographers - the grads are fantastic and they always have amazing ideas.
We often get asked questions regarding how to get the most of a Senior portrait session so we decided to put some tips together.
Tip #1 - What to wear - you can click here to review our What do I wear... blog post. Most importantly, wear clothes in which you feel comfortable. Steer clear of clothes that wrinkle easily or anything sheer (undergarments show more easily in photos). Heels are not a good idea at parks or beaches.
Tip #2 - Outfit changes are great! We often have seniors requesting 2 or 3 looks for their senior photos. Yes, it is a great idea; and you just need to keep a few things in mind. Ensure there will be a place to change or pick a change that won't require much privacy. Clothes that don't wrinkle easy are a great option, and sometimes it is better to have clothes you don't have to pull over your head or that have a large neck opening so you don't have to worry about your hair and make-up. Having someone to help pull your look together is a great idea as well.
Tip #3 - We want to capture the real you. Do you love playing guitar, are you on the football team, are you on the swim team? We can incorporate props in your session - bring the guitar or football or we can get some shots of you in your swim team gear. Do you prefer the photos to be more formal or more casual?
