From the first time we speak with you, we try to make your family photo shoot process a breeze. We know arranging your family photo session can feel overwhelming, so we make the scheduling process as simple as possible and make capturing your special family moments what it is supposed to be... fun!
Here are ways to reduce chaos on family photo day and ensure it is just another day at the park (or beach).
1) PICK THE RIGHT DATE/TIME: Schedule on a day and time that is good for your family. Every family is different. If you have little ones, we definitely want to schedule around nap times. If you have older kids, we want to schedule on a day free of activities or at least a day that isn't too booked. You'll need the time to get ready yourself and get the kiddos ready. So, between getting ready, travel time, and the session itself - plan for about twice as much time as you think you'll need to avoid a massive rush. Check the traffic several times before you leave just in case there are traffic delays. Anticipate having to leave earlier than expected.

2) WHAT TO WEAR: We are huge fans of preparation. Have your outfits ready and do a test drive at least 3 days before your session. This includes hair accessories, shoes, socks, shoes, jewelry, undergarments, shapewear - the whole shabang. This will prevent the last-minute crazies. Click here to view our helpful What to Wear Guide. We recommend avoiding stiff, uncomfortable clothes because this will show on your faces. We're more than happy to offer up our two cents if you have questions about your outfit choices. Have everything ironed and good to go the day before your session; and consider changing into your outfits at the location, if it is an option, to prevent wrinkles, spills, snags, etc. on the drive over. Another great tip - if you have young kiddos, put one of dad's old t-shirts over their outfit to protect from any car ride mishaps.
