We first heard from Kathryn and Darrick in June. They were expecting and excited about their maternity photo session. We decided Sand Key Beach in Clearwater would be the perfect place to capture their joy and Kathryn's beautiful glow! We often recommend expectant moms bring 2 outfits and Kathryn made perfect choices!

In early August, we were thrilled to hear from Kathryn and Darrick that little Isla had arrived! We quickly scheduled a session at our studio, and were so excited to meet her. She did an amazing job at her first photo shoot. We have not had a newborn photo session go better, and she looked adorable in her mermaid outfit.

NEWBORN SESSION TIPS: We have some tricks up our sleeve to keep baby calm during their newborn photo shoot. We keep the light low and keep the room warm. We also have a special noise machine that is soothing for babies. We even have a special warming pad for the little ones. We find keeping calm is key, and if we have to take a break for feeding, changing or for baby to calm down - no worries. We'll get the shots.
