We've had the pleasure of capturing the love between quite a few couples this year. Engagement photo sessions are some of our favorite sessions to do. The joy and love is a beautiful thing! And we've also gotten to capture some proposal photos - talk about exciting!

In the Tampa area, we are blessed to have so many gorgeous locations to do engagement photos. Some of our favorites are Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, Sand Key Beach in Clearwater, Chesnut Park in Palm Harbor, Jay B. Starkey Park in New Port Richey and Sawgrass Lake Park in St. Pete.
Tips for amazing Engagement pictures:
- Plan your outfit at least 1 week in advance. Pick 3 or 4 colors to coordinate your outfits. Avoid bright, bold colors and busy patterns.
- Your photographer will have plenty of posing ideas, but if you have ideas please send them at least 2 days in advance of your engagement portrait session.
- Schedule your session on a day when you can devote quite a bit of time for getting ready and driving to your photo shoot. Plan your entire photo session day in advance to ensure it goes smoothly. Add in additional time in case of last minute outfit issues or traffic.
- Listen to some of your favorite music on the way to your session.
- Feel free to bring props (let your photographer know what you'll be bringing), but with props - less is more. We want to focus on you and your fiancé.
- Breathe deep and relax. Your photographer has done many engagement photo sessions and will have you laughing and even dancing during your photo session. Your job is just to enjoy the time together and focus on the love.
