Tampa has quite a few great locations for Maternity Photography. We love Lettuce Lake Park because it is a gorgeous, natural backdrop to capture the glow of expecting. This was certainly true in the Nomula Family's session. Soujanya, Eschwar and 5-year-old Saina are so excited about the little girl that is on her way. Saina had an adorable outfit for some of the photos then she and mom changed into another outfit.
We highly recommend bringing another outfit for your session. It's difficult to know what is going to photograph best until we do the session. Also, it gives you the opportunity to explore more than 1 look during your session. You can have a more casual look and a dressier look. You can try different styles, colors or even wear your favorite sports team jersey.
For maternity photos, we recommend between 32-36 weeks in your pregnancy. However, we did the Nomula's maternity session when Soujanya was later in her pregnancy and the results were great. We recommend wearing something you are comfortable in - including shoes. Remember, we'll be walking around a bit so you'll want to be as comfortable as possible. Let us know the poses and groupings you'd like us to capture during your session. Our maternity photo sessions usually organically flow between more candid photos and more poses shots. If there is a child involved in your maternity photo session, we recommend bringing someone that can help so we can get some couple photos as well.
